How to Use ONE Labs

ONE Labs

Search and view a patient’s lab test requests, results, and reports from the Ontario laboratories information system (OLIS). To use the application, you must first search for a patient.

When you first open ONE Labs, your patient’s details will be displayed below the page header. The Orders tab will display by default, showing any patient records for the last three months.

The Orders View shows a summary of data at the test order level.

From the Orders View you can:

  • Search by date range based on the report’s Last Updated Date
  • Filter by category, such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, etc.
  • Select different column headings to sort the records into ascending/descending order
  • Apply other filters such as Collection date/time, Order ID, Status, etc.
  • Select the number of records to display per page (1-100) and the page number. Records display defaults to 25 records per page
